Evangelical Organization Church

 

The Evangelical Organization Church, formerly known as Manipur Christian Organization is one of the constituent member of the Evangelical Congregational Church of India representing the Vaiphei speaking community was founded om 1953. This is the church where Rev. Thangkai and Rev. Lungpau who were one of the first gospel messengers in Manipur in 1910.

The principle of Evangelical Organization Church is to accept and accommodate all those who are ready to suffer and follow the lord and to be self reliant in all things. It has celebrated its Golden Jubilee in 2003.

The Conference has 15 Executive Members under the Chairmanship of Elder Zamlal Vaiphei and Elder Lamkhogin Khaute is the Secretary who also serves as the Executive Director of the Conference. It also has its own departments of mission, finance, youth, women, education and ministry.

Its present project is to purchase a plot within the next five years in the national capital city Delhi that will cost about ten lakhs. The Conference is focusing the teeming millions in Delhi who are without the gospel of Jesus Christ.
